A New Year, a New Look for Larnaka Tourism
A new year is always a good time for refreshing and renewing, and the LTB will be doing just that with the launch of a new campaign and slogan for the region of Larnaka, scheduled for the first quarter of 2016.
The new campaign and slogan will be centralised around one of the region’s most defining and unique elements… the beloved flamingo, which favours Larnaka and always returns – just like many of our repeat visitors! And alongside the campaign, the LTB website will also be given an exciting new look, and will incorporate even more pertinent information on the region, its history, attractions, events and news.
The new campaign is part of the LTB’s ongoing efforts to highlight Larnaka’s many charms and ensure that visitors always find a friendly welcome and a world of unique and interesting things to see and do. One of its functions as a body is to keep abreast of issues that affect tourism and to promote infrastructural plans to assist in Larnaka’s evolution and development.
Whilst the organisation was set up in 2008, this is the first time that the website and slogan are being updated, and this is being done in-line with the changing times, and Larnaka’s growth as a tourist destination, which includes a more defined image that focuses on the key selling points that separate the region from other areas of the island.
