Complimentary Winter Activities for Larnaka Hotel Guests

Visitors staying in one of Larnaka’s diverse hotels anytime from November 1, 2013 - March 31, 2014, are in for a real treat with a complimentary programme of events created by the Larnaka Tourism Board.

The jam-packed timetable features something different for every day of the week - completely free of charge upon presentation of a voucher issued by the hotels for their staying guests. All the activities are available on a ‘turn up and enjoy’ basis except for two village excursions which require one day’s notice.

The week starts with a session of Rejuvenating Beach Yoga on the Foinikoudes sands on Monday, followed by a trip to the Mazotos Camel Park on Tuesday where you can meet, feed and ride these gentle giants. On Wednesday, a professional tour guide will take you on a walking tour of the town in the morning, whilst the afternoon comes with a wine-tasting course by the scenic Medieval Castle Square. Thursday’s activity is a trip to the village of Athienou for some traditional mosaic crafts, halloumi and bread making, and Friday is filled with a guided tour of the local crafts and workshops in the morning, and a traditional dance lesson in the afternoon. You can enjoy another village excursion on Saturday to the picturesque villages of Lefkara, Tochni and Skarinou, and if by the end of the week you are in need of some relaxation, you can sit back and enjoy a series of performances with Musical Sundays on the seafront… phew!

The programme is available from all Larnaka hotels and from here:
