New, Improved Bus Routes

Exploring Larnaka and its villages has become a lot easier since the launch of a comprehensive bus system with routes that take in all the attractions and main areas of interest within the region. The operator of Larnaka’s buses - Zinonas - in cooperation with the Larnaka Tourism Board - continues to expand its network with the addition of new routes, as well as specially priced season tickets that make it even more convenient to get around Larnaka.

Aside from the regular urban routes, you will also find rural routes which include the villages of Athienou, Skarinou, Zygi, Lefkara and Kiti – all of which possess their own individual charm and points of interest. For some leisure time, the Camel Park at Mazotos, the city centre (and its shops), the Salt Lake (where you can find migrating flamingos in the cooler months), and the kitesurfing beaches of Kiti/Mazotos, are also just a bus ride away

A full-day ticket costs €5, a weeklong ticket is €15 and a monthly ticket is €45. Each option offers unlimited travel by bus for all routes until 11pm and is excellent value for money. So, hop on a bus and see where it takes you… every destination is a winner!
