Larnaka is ‘King’ for Kitesurfing!

Larnaka has fast become synonymous with first-rate kitesurfing, despite the sport being relatively new to the region, and fans the world over are looking forward to another great ‘Cyprus Kitesurfing Championships - King of Kite’ tournament this year. This season also brings the added bonus of a Kitesurfers Pro Weekend camp with special guest…

The King of Kite 2015 will take place at Kahuna Surfhouse in Mazotos on July 5, and as is tradition for the event - which is in its third year - it will once again welcome a famous guest judge, who this year is the Dutch kitesurfer, Ruben Lenten. For more details on the event click here.

And if the tournament has you excited to improve your technique, you can do so with the help of professional Dutch rider Jalou Langeree, who is a world champion in her own right, as well as sister of world champion Kevin Langeree (who was in Cyprus for the first King of Kite 2013). Jalu’s expertise will form part of the exciting new kitesurfing camp ‘for board riders with a mission', which will take place at ‘The Spot’ beach in Kiti on July 11 -12. As the first camp of its kind, it is a highly anticipated event! For more information, visit:
