‘Tis the Season to Enjoy Festive Events!
Experience Christmas in Larnaka and take your pick whether to join in with the festivities organised in town by Larnaka Municipality, or a village event full of community spirit!
If you are visiting the town, the Foinikoudes palm tree promenade and Ermou Square are the main focal points for organised events and entertainment.
The seafront will see many different seasonal events from both the municipality and charitable organisations, whilst Ermou Square in the town centre always has a wonderful Christmas atmosphere with a Santa’s grotto nestled inside the giant tree, and stages for choirs to perform seasonal songs and hymns throughout the festive period. The villages of the region also hold their own festivities. Kiti Community Council will hold its main events on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December from 5pm at Angeloktisti park (in front of the church). The event will include complimentary nuts, hot chestnuts, wine, Zivania and hot drinks, a visit from Santa, and a programme of entertainment for all the family. More details here.
The quaint village of Agios Theodoros will also hold its ‘Christmas in the Village’ celebration on Saturday, December 17 from 4.30pm. The event will offer complimentary wine and Zivania spirit, with stalls, a musical programme, Christmas train and activities for children. More details here.
