It is officially autumn, but you could be forgiven for thinking that it is still August in Larnaka as the sun continues to shine and the coastlines remain bustling! And although you can still enjoy summery pursuits, the new season also brings lots of other activities and events that are perfect for the pleasant temperature drop. From sports and complimentary experiences, to traditional festivals and pretty paths to stroll along, autumn has it all…

Creating a World-Class Diving Destination
Larnaka is already on the global map of premier diving destinations, thanks to
the famous Zenobia wreck, which will soon be joined by an artificial reef and
new snorkelling areas, further cementing the region’s status as an underwater
paradise..
Year Four for Free Winter Experiences
We love to hear feedback from our visitors regarding our immensely popular
Complimentary Winter Experiences Programme, and with this in mind, are
pleased to be running the initiative for a fourth year.
You Love our Locals!
Larnaka region is very proud of its high rate of repeat visitors, but we are most
proud of the fact that they say that one of the main reasons for their return is
the friendly, welcoming and accommodating local residents!
Full Speed Ahead for New Larnaka Campaign
Since we launched our new slogan and campaign last season, it has been full
speed ahead for the LTB, and our flamingo mascots have been very busy,
appearing on a large variety of new materials!
Celebrating Larnaka Traditions
Larnaka celebrates the delicious culinary traditions and local folkarts that are
still practised by women in rural villages with the Annual Festival of Tradition
& Culture, held this year in the mountainous village of Ora on October 1.
The Races of Autumn Seas
Larnaka’s favourable sea temperatures are always popular for water-based
sports, and autumn sees the return of the International Swimming Marathon,
and the Cyprus Israel Regatta.
