Larnaka Tourism Board is lead partner for the Carbon Neutral Agrotourism Communities project alongside the Larnaca & Famagusta Districts Development Agency.

The project is part of the European LEADER/CLLD - Elard programme that aims to involve local actors in rural areas in the development of their own regions by forming Local Actions Groups (LAGs) and designing and implementing strategies.

Project Update - Training Workshop, 22.01.25

A training workshop 'Climate Neutral Agrotourism Communities in Larnaka' took place in Ora village on January 22, 2025, organised by Larnaka Tourism Board and Larnaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and with the participation of Community Council heads and representatives; business people and other stakeholders. The workshop introduced the project and highlighted the importance of climate neutrality and circular economy through presentations from experts as well as interactive examples such as air quality checks.
