The quarter of the town between Dionysos and Kosma Lysioti streets (that leads out to both the town centre and the promenade on either side) was developed in the late 1980’s to represent a traditional town quarter of the early 20th century. 

With its traditional Cypriot architecture and a host of different entertainment venues offering food, drink and live music, the area is bustling and vibrant in the evenings, and constitutes one of the main areas of nightlife in the town.
