The first Renaissance Fair will take you on a journey back in time, re-recreating a local fair during the reign of Katerina Cornaro, the last Queen of Cyprus. Costumed performers from Italy, San Marino, and Cyprus, as well as the community choir and the dance group of Pyrga, will entertain with period music, dances, games, story-telling and traditional poetry.  You can also enjoy food, drinks and an open-air market with local products and crafts.

The Fair is organised by the Laona Foundation as part of the European project Beyond Cultural Tourism (Be.Cultour, Horizon 2020) in collaboration with the Community Council of Pyrga and the Larnaca and Famagusta District Development Agency (ANETEL).
