Athienou village is famous for many food products, which are all showcased at the annual festival where visitors will be able watch the preparation of, sample and buy, Athienou bread, Halloumi cheese, bulgar wheat soup, lokkoumi wedding sweets, nuts, homemade preserves, spoon sweets, nuts, eggs, pasta, alcoholic beverages and other local products. The programme will also include children's workshops and activities.

The festival takes place at the municipal park with free admission.
