Annual Bee Festival in celebration of 'World Bee Day'.

World Bee Day 2024 focuses on the theme 'Bee engaged with Youth', and highlights the importance of involving young people and children in beekeeping and pollinator conservation efforts, recognising them as the future stewards of our environment. 

Time: 11am - 7pm

Location: Ora village

Activities:

• Meet the beekeepers and sample hive products.
• Cultural walk around the village to discover its hidden treasures.
• Honey and honey-related products (including immunity boosters).
• Pollination plants showcased and available for purchase.
• Children's interactive and educational activities.
• Complimentary hair treatments with beeswax and essential oils.
• Information about the impact of climate change on bees and facts about bees and their life.
• Stalls of 30 exhibitors, beekeepers and local producers (honey, gastronomy, crafts, cosmetics).
• Entertainment programme.
