The alcohol-based workshops and tasting experiences offered in the heart of the city centre are a unique holiday activity that can be enjoyed on a casual basis or in organised groups for special occasions and corporate events. 

The ‘Local Spirit Cocktail Workshop’ at Sunmoon Hospitality – located by Larnaka Municipal Market and Zouchouri Square - reimagines Cyprus classics, weaving their creation with a journey around the island’s rich winemaking history. 

The two-hour experience consists of mixing the famous Brandy Sour and concocting distinctive cocktails with local wine as well as with sweet Commandaria, which is the world’s oldest named wine still in production. Attendees also enjoy a welcome drink and take home a souvenir booklet with bartending principles.

On the other side of Larnaka Municipal Market is The Oak Tree Wine Cellar & Tasting Room where the popular ‘10 Cyprus Wines Tasting’ session takes place in the cava’s wine tasting room. 

Over the course of 1-1.5 hours you can savour a variety of the island’s red, white, rosé and dessert wines, including those crafted with indigenous grape varieties, whilst learning all about their origins; the viticulture of Cyprus, and the perfect food and wine pairings.
