Take in panoramic views and strike a pose at one (or all) of the photo benches located at some of the most picturesque spots across Larnaka... and don’t forget to tag Larnaka Region on your social media pics!

Larnaka Tourism Board has been sponsoring photo benches at key viewpoints across the region in Lefkara, Pervolia and Choirokoitia, with a fourth scheduled at the Rizoelia National Forest Park of Aradippou.

Rizoelia is a popular site for walking and jogging, offering a natural haven in the city. The bench will sit atop an elevation in the park with panoramic views of the area bridging Aradippou and Larnaka municipalities. Look out for the bench later in the year!

Lefkara’s photo bench is a cubic structure overlooking beautiful mountainous scenery. The village is world-renowned for its handmade embroidered lace that is included on the UNESCO Intangible World Heritage List and was also awarded the status of ‘Best Tourism Village’ by the UN World Tourism Organisation’s in 2022. Adding to the village’s charm, the photo bench soon became one of the most photographed spots in the vicinity when it was installed in 2021.

In 2022, photo benches were also added at Choirokoitia; a rural village, and at Pervolia; a coastal community. The bench at Choirokoitia is also a cubic design that blends harmoniously with the countryside environment with views across the village. Choirokoitia is most famous for its Neolithic settlement and for its traditional products.

At Pervolia, a modern heart-shaped bench captures sweeping views of the pristine beach and Mediterranean waters and provides the perfect spot to stop along the coastal path and breathe in the fresh sea air.

Alongside the Larnaka Tourism Board benches, there is a honeycomb bench in Odou; reflecting its rich beekeeping and honey production history, and quaint Agios Theodoros village also has three benches: circular, heart-shaped and cubic, making the most of its sea and countryside views.
