Sea-themed Artworks at Mediterranean Park

The elegant Mediterranean Park in the Larnaka Art Workshops Neighbourhood has become a cultural landmark with six sculptures by local artists added to complement the area’s touristic identity.
The park was created in 2024 and is located parallel to Piale Pasha coastal walkway; nestled amidst the traditional houses where artists now welcome visitors to their workshops, in the nostalgic old side streets of Larnaka city.
The sculptures – by five artists - have a theme connecting this historic area to sea, nature and culture and were created by: Androulla Angelidou Antoniadou, Christiana Charalambous, Katerina Stavrou, Andreas Kalli and Fotos Demetriou.
Each sculpture bears a QR code that explains the inspiration behind the piece in English and Greek – in the artists’ own words.
The park offers a lovely pitstop during a stroll along Piale Pasha, or whilst exploring the neighbourhood, which also features other artistic touches. It is also included in the Larnaka 360° Cultural Walk, indicated by the distinctive pink QR code at the start of the streets.
The artworks project is a cooperation between the Larnaka Tourism Board and Larnaka Municipality, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
