LTB Active in European Programmes
LTB continues to participate in EU programmes with various projects aimed at adapting and growing the scope of tourism services, and/or training of industry personnel.
With the dTour and Time4 Alternative Creativity in Remote Spaces (Time4AC) projects successfully concluding, LTB is participating in two new programmes in addition to those that are ongoing; 'Go For Vet' and 'Rural Women's Clubs - Locally Active in Traditions and Tourism'.
Go For Vet in Erasmus+
The project consists of five partners working together to strengthen the potential of VET providers to implement vocational international traineeships under Erasmus + (2021-2027) by developing and implementing new learning agreement programmes for four professions; as well as development of recommendations and good practices in the field of inclusion of students with disability into international vocational mobility projects under the Erasmus+ programme.
Rural Women's Clubs - Locally Active in Traditions and Tourism:
The main aim of the project is to increase the diversity of the offer of rural women’s organisations from three EU countries, allowing of more effective educational activities for local communities.
Through international cooperation, the project strives to broaden the activities of women’s clubs in small local communities and make them more attractive, thus encouraging a larger number of people to participate in the activities arranged by such organisations.

ESTour
The ESTour Erasmus+ programme of the European Union is aimed at training and certifying people who have been working in the hospitality sector and would like to update their skills related to the new health and safety protocols and new digital technologies in regards to an effective response to epidemic crises’ impact.
LTB has contributed to the desk research for Cyprus that will form part of the transnational report of tourism trends pre- and post-pandemic, alongside that of the partners from Greece, Italy, Spain and Poland.
The training course will help ready the local tourism industry in the case of potential pandemics or health related factors that can impact tourism.
QUEST
QUEST – Promoting Quality internships in Sustainable Tourism & Heritage Management is an innovative Erasmus+ project aimed at increasing Higher Education (HE) students employability in the tourism sector, one of the most fast paced sectors in terms of innovation and most affected by Covid-19 emergency.
QUEST is carried out by a partnership of 8 organisations – 3 HE universities, 4 organisations working in the fields of tourism and/or cultural heritage, 1 Cultural Route of the Council of Europe – and led by Libertas International University (Zagreb, Croatia).
