Dromolaxia Meneou Municipality

Dromolaxia Meneou Municipality was formed under the 2024 Municipal Reform and encompasses Kiti, Pervolia, Tersefanou, Dromolaxia and Meneou communities in Larnaka region.
Kiti
Kiti is a large coastal community best known for its significant Angeloktisti Church, which features a rare 6th century mosaic of the Virgin and Child between two archangels. The area is also popular for wind and kitesurfing at the island’s first and only designated kitesurfing beach Softades.
Kiti is home to one of the region’s four Venetian Watchtowers, which is also included in the Thematic Cycle Routes.
An annual artichoke festival is held in April/May, as well as a summer festival.
Pervolia
The large coastal community, Pervolia, overlooks one of the lakes in the Larnaka Salt Lake network and has several other notable attractions: the famous lighthouse (Faros); a remnant from the island's time under British Rule, and the old Venetian Watchtower (Rigena / Regena). The watchtower is one of four in the region that remain in good condition, and included in the Thematic Cycle Routes.
Tersefanou
Located minutes from Larnaka International Airport, Tersefanou is a small, traditional village that is popular for its calm vibe and borders Dromolaxia and Pervolia. The significant Agios Georgios Arperas Chapel is located 2km from the village where a Medieval village once stood.
Dromolaxia
Also located close to Larnaka International Airport, Dromolaxia borders one of the lakes in the Larnaka Salt Lake network on the western side, incorporating the Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque in its environs.
Meneou
Meneou is a small coastal community that borders Dromolaxia and Pervolia, as well as one of the lakes in the Larnaka Salt Lake network on the southwest side. It is popular for its idyllic beach and features an old water management system locally knowns as 'havouza' (water storage tank) and 'lagoumia' (underground water tunnel), which once served the needs of the community.
