EU Projects Update: Transnational Meetings



MAAS - 5th Transnational Partner Meeting - Larnaka, Cyprus
Larnaka Tourism Board was pleased to host the 5th Transnational Partner Meeting of the MAAS project, welcoming the partners to our city on October 30 & 31, 2025.
The meeting covered, among other topics, the consolidated final report of the Peer Review, Assessment and Validation of Contents based on interviews; overviews of the eGuide, eTracking Tool and Portfolio Builder, and the Exploitation and Legacy plan to ensure the ongoing promotion of the project.
MAAS (Match, Attain and Sustain: New Methods for Europe’s Job Brokers Supporting Tourism Businesses, Ukrainian Refugees and Job Seekers) is nearing its conclusion in February 2026 and will end with a final conference in Sweden.
H.I.R.E. - 2nd Transnational Meeting – Athens, Greece
Larnaka Tourism Board attended the second transnational meeting of the H.I.R.E. project (‘Hotel Inclusive Recruitment Education’) in Athens, Greece from September 25-27, 2025
The three-day meeting, hosted by the Greek partner Hellenic Institute of Sign Language, coincided with Deaf Awareness Week in Greece.
During the meeting, the training materials designed for hoteliers and co-workers were thoroughly reviewed, and plans for the upcoming testing phase were discussed. Additionally, materials targeting Deaf individuals and mature workers were further developed, while the latest updates to the project’s communications package were presented.
The event culminated in the partners’ active participation at ‘DeaFestival 2025,’ held at Syntagma Square in Athens.
SenDiTour - 2nd Transnational Meeting – Athens, Greece
Larnaka Tourism Board attended the second transnational meeting of the SenDiTour (Tourism for Sensory Disabilities) project in Athens, Greece from September 22-24, 2025.
Hosted by Greek partner Hellenic Institute of Sign Language, the meeting covered the next steps for the design of workshops and manuals for persons with a sensory disability (two target groups: Deaf persons and Blind persons), as well as the comprehensive dissemination and communication plan that will promote the project.
The meeting also coincided with 'Deaf Awareness Week and International Day of Sign Language' in Greece.
